Image of Restore Partition on new hard drive

#1 Post by Kyocera » Thu Aug 11, 2005 1:04 pm

I have a 10G IBM hard drive I got out of a fiery print system and loaded Red hat 9 and have been using it in my T42. Red hat is somewhat useless though and I want to use the 10G HD when I do troubleshooting calls during the day as I troubleshoot print systems on networks. I made a ghost of the restore partiiton on my 40G factory HD and want to place it on the 10G and run the "restore hard drive to factory settings" from the computer, is this possible? I do use the restore partition now and then to reinstall the OS so I don't want to disable it in any way. Thanks for any input.
