The ExpressCard slot is through PCI Express on the T43 right?

Nobody answered you? Yes, ExpressCard uses both a PCI Express and USB 2.0 interface. Other threads here have links to other sites with further information. Essentially, ExpressCard will have higher throughput speeds than Cardbus (the type of slot below the Expresscard slot).
