IBM Rapid Restore Ultra

#1 Post by pphilipko » Fri Aug 12, 2005 7:04 pm

Does this program make a COMPLETE backup of your system? (I'm planning to use it to back my laptop up to my USB hard drive.) Or can only Acronis do that? Thanks.

Yes, it does. If you back up the entire disk that came with your system, it will restore both partitions to a new disk. I use it weekly. I have had to restore only once (to an IBM-supplied replacement HDD) but it worked.
