old tabooks online?

i'm trying to find whether there is a thinkpad t23 model 2647-JU2. i'm looking to buy one and the seller states that it is the correct model number. i can't find it on the ibm website. is there a repository of old tabooks for T23s?

Didn't this question just get answered like yesterday?

tabook.pdf is current models.
tawbook.pdf is previous models.
tbook/twbook.pdf is even older models.

There are other *book.pdf files in the same folder for processors, desktops, monitors, etc and, yes, even index files for old and new stuff that are cleverly disguised as index.pdf and indexw.pdf. Look 'em up at:

More than likely it was a "contract" machine. If you're a large corporation that buys a lot of Thinkpads, you can have them with a "special" individualized model number.

When my wife got her new T40 from her employer I was surprised at it's similarity to my 2373-8CU T40. When I punched her model no. into the IBM database, I got a similar result as you, the machine was "based on" the 2373-8CU.
