Hack a dock?

From what I understand, the X41 Tablet's primary incompatibility with docks other than the X4 Dock is that the plastics just don't line up. Is this correct? The X4 Dock is basically useless. Does anyone know if it would be possible to separate the docking connector from one of the more full-featured docks (aka Dock II, Mini Dock, or Port Replicator II) to connect it to the X41 tablet?

"possible"...vaguely. if the pinouts match and you could hack together a working solution.

I lied. The docking connector on the X4 series is significantly different (smaller, less-featured) than the other lines.
