hottest part of your t43?
hottest part of your t43?
Anyone ever notice what part of their laptop gets the hottest?
my 14.1 t43 (undervolted and using wireless) is fine all over the bottom except for directly under the touchpad, which is way to hot for my liking
Thanks

t43p. Warm under palms, warm on bottom center (under touchpad) and also to the right of there. Then again in rear left. It sucks.

The area under the palmrest (where the wireless card is installed) generally gets the hottest, although the area under the GPU gets even hotter if I am running anything that does 3D.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!

only heat emanating from your thinkpads electronics counts..
and if ANYONE thinks their T40whatever is hot they never experienced the 760ED..
that one would press your pants and leave a heat rash on your legs..
