hi again,this site is great,alot of info,i'm trying to get 760L running,I have abattery charger but it seems like I'm missing a connection,the plug on the box matches the back of computer but it won't connect cause it's recessed.any help on these?It shows windows 98 when I turn it on,then goes to c,it's off ebay without operating system,Ihave windows 95 on floppy,ready to go.thanks for any help

Are you saying that there is no cable coming from your power brick to connect to the 760?

Thanks for that sight,the cord comes out of th box,about 3 feet ,then it reconnects on the top of the box,it is in like a plastic rectangle with an arrow pointing to the connection pin.It looks like if I could slide it off,it would plug right in ,but I don't want to force it if it doesn't.Does this make any sense?

Yes, just slide it out. It's a holder/protecter for the plug when you're travelling with the unit.

You wrap the cord around the power brick and then slide the plug in the holder, makes for a nice travel package.
