Forum "Search" function gives blank "results&

#1 Post by bvaughn » Wed Aug 17, 2005 2:37 pm

Why does this happen? I used the forum "Search" function to find postings on Microsoft's .NET Framework 1.1 software. (I don't what it does, whether I need it on my TP, how to remove it if I don't need it, etc.) I put ".net framework" (no quotes) in the keywords box and selected "Search for all terms"; and the "results" screen was blank . . . just a white space.

Same thing happened just now when I tried to "Preview" this message. The screen was just blank.

Thanks, Bill. I just now did the search, and got results, but only 14 matches. How did you obtain 503 matches? Here are my search parameters:

Code: Select all

Keywords: .net framework [Search for all terms]
Forum: All available
Category: All available
Display results as: Posts
Search previous: All posts [Search topic title and message text]
Sort by: Post time [Descending]
Return first 200 characters of posts
