Corrupt IBMSHARE Directory
Corrupt IBMSHARE Directory
I booted into diagnostic mode just to look at it, didn't do anything, and rebooted back to normal. When system restarted, it indicated that the c:\ibmshare directory was corrupt. I couldn't open that directory at all. I ran chkdsk, and it did several repairs. I can now open c:\ibmshare, and everything appears to be running normally. 2 questions for the brains out there:
1. What is that directory and files within for?
2. Can email me a recursive listing of that directory so I can see if I am missing any files? leon@dodgeit.com
Thanks!

I see all of these on mine, plus I have two extra files in IBMSHARE: sysinfo.ini and sysinfo.xml. These just contain a couple of text lines about BIOS version, model, serial number, processor, etc.
