Hi, I'm asking this question here in the T series forum, because I own a T42

My question for you is:
How warm (or hot maybe) does your power adapter get, when you got your notebook connected to A/C and you are charging from low battery?

When answering the poll, make sure you feel the adapter all over (no pun intented)

At this moment I am charging my notebook from a say 33% battery while having power savings set to: Max system performance
Not doing too much tho, browsing a bit and playing some mp3's. When I feel my power adapter, it's kinda hottish. *Been charging from 33% to 84%, and going on

I just got my replacement power adapter, was having trouble with previous one, so that's why I'm curious...

At this point my vote is:
Hot, quite uncomfortable to hold in hand

My AC Adapter gets very warm, but I don't think it's ever been so hot that I couldn't hold it, even when charging the battery from a low level.

If you are using the IBM battery maximizer software, left click on the battery icon in the task tray, and choose battery information. If you don't have the battery icon, go to Start > All Programs > Access IBM > Battery MaxiMiser Wizard. When running wizard, choose to put icon on task tray.

I was going to ask the same question, but I found this topic through search.

Im charging my laptop from low level (5%) and just realized that my ac adapter is freakiously hot. Gave me a scare, but I guess it being hot is pretty common.
