Away this past weekend

I mentioned somewhere here (Message Inbox, I think) that I was away for the weekend.

This was year 11 for my annual bike tour to support MS. The first 10, we journeyed from Brampton, ON (Northwest of Toronto, Canada) to the University of Guelph (farther west) for a round trip journey over Saturday and Sunday of about 160Km plus or minus.

This year we journeyed from the same place to the University of Waterloo (my Alma Mater as it happens and even farther west) for a round trip journey of over 190Km over Saturday and Sunday. I did the trip this year at an average pace of 23Km/hour and just over 8 hours at the pedals. Not bad for a guy who is too old to answer the age questions in here. Nice conditions on the way back this year and we did the 95Km at 25Km/hour, which is about as fast as I can go on that kind of journey.
