T4x network jack troubles

I have a T41 and consistantly have problems with the network jack not getting a good connection. I basically have to make sure i carry this one cable around with me, because it is the only one that i can plug into the jack and have it maintain a link. I brought my laptop into work today, and tried 4 different cable (different manufacturers), and not one of them would hold a link unless i held the cable in a tilted position. I can see where the problem lies inside the jack, its like every other pin in there is set back further that the others. The pins in there also lay real low to the floor of the jack instead of sticking up like most netowrk jacks. This thing has been like this since i got, but its just started getting on my nerves lately as i mostly have been using a wireless connection.
