I noticed that a lot of IBM software were running at the start up, but have no clear idea about if it's necessary or not.
I just uninstalled the power manager since I used battery maximiser which seemed to have even more function than the original power manager. But when I ran soft installer to see those updates, it marked yellow for that power manager indicating it was highly recommended. Do you guys have any idea about the differences between these two? Can I just use battery maximiser?
Also, I uninstalled the update connector, using software installer instead.
Seems to be a little bit faster when starting up.

What kinda IBM software is necessary for the system?
