Question regarding Systemboard T40

#1 Post by schnazzy1 » Fri Aug 26, 2005 9:08 am

I was noticing several auctions on ebay for system boards for the T40/T41/T42.
Question is this, can i put a newer board in my T40 2373-19u?

nope, my board has been working fine, i was just wondering, wouldn't mind having 1gb nic instead of the 100mb nic and heck if i can put a t42mb in i could upgrad the cpu further, right?

should work. But not for the faint of heart since you will need to completely disassble the thinkpad. Also will void your warranty.
