touchpad / external mouse customization

hi, i have just recently bought a t42p, and it turns out that i am left handed when using the touchpad/trackpoint and right handed when an external mouse is attached. is there a way to set windows up to reverse the right/left click buttons for my touchpad, but then switch back to normal when an external mouse is plugged in? thanks.
