Hibernating is harmful ?

#1 Post by sco1984 » Sun Aug 28, 2005 5:48 am

I have IBM Thinkpad R50e-1834-EQ1.
I heard hibernating is harmful for physical memory .
Is it true ? Does frequent hibernating causes RAM damage ?
I heard this for the 1st time. I just wonder ..If it is a problem
Microsoft wont give us that option ..Ha ! Waiting for reply .

Regards,
:)

Maybe the right word should have been "fragmentation". I'd reboot at least twice per month.
