A yound lady who bought a T23 from me a few months ago has upgraded to a CDRW drive, and she brought me her plain CD-ROM drive this morning to see if I could get something for it to help her offset the cost of the CDRW she just bought.
It is a complete Ultrabay 2000 CD-ROM (the plastic caddy was not removed) and is the original IBM part from her T23. It is working and in very nice condition. It should work in any of the models I listed in my post where I'm selling the Ultarbay 2000 Combo Drive.
I know that many of the T23 and T30 owners on this forum are upgrading to DVD-burners and are in need of an inexpensive CD-ROM to take the caddy from to use on their new burners (rather than render their CDRW/DVD units useless). If anyone here needs this working part (or for just the caddy) please make her an offer through me.
Thanks,
Yak
