T30 with Windows NT4 SP6 not reading data DVD in drive??

I have a T30 which runs beautifully under XP, but when I installed new hardrive with NT4 for a specific application my DVD drive will only read CDs & when I insert a DVD+R (copied) a "Drive Not accessible" message comes up. I have down loaded the latest Bios etc...help?

NT4 is pretty old and was never good at hardware recognition (There is not an "Add Hardware" wizard). You will have to find drivers from the IBM T30 site if they even exist. ... JD Hurst
