Compatibility between t41p, t42p and t43p?

Hi!

Thinking of upgrading from a t41p and getting a t42p or t43p. Problem is I have a few ultrabay slim accessories for my t41p (like the slim battery and hdd caddy). Will these "ultrabay slim" accessories work with a t42p or t43p?

T4X are same family and you can swap all of those with no problem, and good thing is this won't void your warranty

why even considering upgrading from a T41p to a T42p. There is no difference between the two what so ever except the CPU

Well, was only considering a t42p if the t43p wasn't compatible with the ultrabay devices. But since it is, I needn't worry now

you can't put RAM from T41/T42 to T43 or vice versa, T43 uses DDR2 533 Mhz while T42 and T41 uses DDR.

however you can use ... same modem and bluetooth card, Wireless card.
