X series demographics
This spun off of the latest SXGA+ X series thread...
What age group are you in, X series owners?
Edit: Too late to edit the poll... it should read 25 to 34.

My elderly (heh) father uses the 14" T43 at 1400x1050, and before that he'd used the 14" T40 at 1400x1050. He did not want the X-series because the 12" screen is too limited for him.
My father-in-law uses the X40 or X41 and he seems fine with the 12" XGA.
My bro-in-law has always used one T-series or another, I think running XGA, since he doesn't know any better (kidding)
I've been using the X40, until my X41T arrive tomorrow. I of course would appreciate a larger screen at higher resolution, but I've grown accustomed to the X-series size/weight...
At home I've been using four 21" CRT monitors each running at 1600x1200, but my new desktop PC is arriving next week with a 24" widescreen TFT monitor running at 1900x1200.

Interesting that the 18-24 and 25-34 age groups own the most X series...
Of course, I know that asking on a technology forum isn't exactly the best representative of the data, b/c you're going to get the techies, and not the jet-setting executives that the X seems to be targetted towards...

I think that most users of the X series are going to be business types. In the past companies I have worked for the managers tended to have X series notebookts to allow them to work mobile.
Also, during a business trip last year I was in a lounge with no less that 4 additional X31's. For some reason all the IBM users seemed to congregate on one side of the business lounge.
