X32 ordering question- optical drive listed -> X3 incl.?

I'm looking at an X32 (2884M2U) off EPP (friend's), but I can't figure out what IBM/Lenovo is saying when a certain model specifies that it includes an optical drive ("CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo IV" on the page listing all the models) since neither the X32 or X40 has the Ultrabay slot. The simpliest answer is that the model includes an optical drive thrown in, but I thought it would make more sense if that's their way of saying they'll include an X3 Ultrabase with the optical drive installed in it, but couldn't find anything to confirm either way.

Anybody able to shed some light on this? Many many thanks in advance.

It means that there's an X3 base included.
