Can recovery discs be written on DVDs

#1 Post by krma-thkpds » Sat Sep 03, 2005 7:04 pm

Im writing this form knoppix conqueror so sory for any mistakes. The keyboard is englih which I am not used to.

However, I want to make recovery discs, but from every post i have seen to this day people wrote them to CDs. Is there a way to write those disch to DVD? I know that DVD-RAM is not supported for first recovery CD. What about DVD-R and ther DVD standard?

Yes it can. It's been a while since I did this but, when it asks for the first disc put in a recordable CD and when it asks for the next disc put in a recordable DVD. FYI I also used an external DVD recorder to create the recovery discs.

Cheers,
Rob.
