Hello,
I tried to install MCP2 on a T42p, but the installation failed on the second reboot wiith a trap in doscall1.dll.
The system is a T42p with 1 GB Ram, 80 GB harddisk.
Any hints on how to solve that problem?
Thanks in advance from Germany.

good luck with that problem..
sadly, i am about to combine this OS/2 confrence with another one..
we DID have a very smart OS/2 guy here (batuta) but when he arrived he brought a bad attitude and started many wars..
he also attracted some other OS/2 users and people who were less than cordial with one another..
so i asked batuta to cut it out or leave..
he chose to leave..

Problem solved
Hi to all,
just in case you are interested.
The problem was solved by a hint posted on www.commtalk.org.
Setting the display to VGA, and nothing but VGA, lets the system install correctly.
Afterwards you might install snap for higher solutions.
Thanks to Sven who posted the hint.
So long.
