what's the difference between T43's and T43p's?

Sorry, I'm sure this is a stupid newbie question.

Also, does anyone know WHICH 15" thinkpad models come with a Flexview screen.

P is the performance/premium model. Generally faster, more options, features etc. Like large hard drive, faster processor, more RAM and larger video card just to name a few...

only the 15" T42 or T43 with either SXGA+ or UXGA resolution feature a Flexview display.
