I volunteer to forego my feather if these wonderful birds are naked. <vbg>ian wrote:With the number of units Bill is shipping at the moment, I'm getting very worried about all these naked parrots near Bills house in Florida...
Just kidding, if a feather is available, I want it! It is warm here in Florida and unless the birds are modest, its a nice touch from Bill.

Got my confirmation email ( FedEx tracking # )from Bill earlier this morning. My KXU should be here sometime tomorrow
and with the "Feather" I should be so tickled I'll probably wet my pampers
Thanks for your great service and keeping me from getting something I now feel would not have served me as well.

Maybe Bill ships the ThinkPad box within a larger box and the feather is inside the larger box? Just a theory
This thread reminds me of a thread I read a long time ago on AnandTech. Some guy named "littlelouie" refused to consider buying from Bill because he said his friend found bird feathers inside the RAM socket of a T30 purchased from Bill
Let me see if I can dig up that thread.

Read the comments by "littlelouie". Even more than a year later I am still LMAO
And I thought people here were concerned about getting a perfect machine!
