Where did my taskbar battery icons go?

My task bar used to have two battery icons. They were always there, just to the left of the systray. I could click on them and select a battery scheme, or select Improve Battery Health to change charging thresholds, etc.

Those icons are gone. How do I get them back? I know it's a simple question but the help file isn't pointing me anywhere, nor is Access IBM.

Try this:

Start Menu > All Programs > Access IBM > Battery MaxiMiser Wizard

Step 3 of the Wizard has a checkbox to display the Battery Gauge.
