Access Connections...

#1 Post by GoEatFood » Tue Sep 13, 2005 3:17 pm

yesterday, for no reason at all it seems that something went wrong with access connections. I got a message twice saying I need to update the software for it. but, the problem is that...it's not finding any wireless connections and it's showing that the wireless radio is off. which it isn't. the windows program is currently working correctly.

I've tryed messing around with the settings, restarting the system after changes were made and it still isn't working correctly.

did a new version of access connections come out?? it isn't showing on the IBM updater thing.

anyways, any help would be great. the Access Connections seems to work better than the stock windows connection manager.

Try uninstalling Access Connections using the Add or Remove Programs from the Windows Control Panel. Then run ThinkVantage Software Installer to reinstall the program. Hopefully this will work for you. FYI, the latest version of Access Connections that I am aware of is 3.71.
