keyboards on 14" and 15" models
I have a Thai keyboard on my 14" T41... will it fit on my 15" t42p?
I don't like the 39T0765 keyboard I have now. It's very springy and "clickly". I am wondering if I can swap them.

if you get the hardware maintenance manual you can look it up..
but i think that they are "universal" on the T40 series..

I just tried the swap, but the keyboards are different, so no go.
Same size, same layout, same everything... except for the little gold "spacers" on the bottom that hold the keyboard up. Some of them are in different positions. The keyboard just won't 'fit' around a few of the components in myT42p.
Guess I need to call IBM.

14" is 4 screws, 15" is 3 screws, and of course they're in different places. Unfortunate, as it means they're not interchangeable, and require different part numbers.
