T22 - PCMCIA eject buttons missing & yellowish colors

I bought a used IBM Thinkpad T22 (900MHz, 256MB RAM, 30GB HDD, 8x dvd-rom, batterie life at least +20min) from lapstore.de for 349,00 EUR (~290$).
Today the shipping arrived and what do I have to see?
The eject buttons of the PCMCIA card slots are missing.
Also there's a small scratch on the bottom of the display, the display cover between the hinges has a small opening and the keyboard layout has been switched to german by some kind of adhesive film.
The only thing which really looks like a problem to me are the missing eject buttons. I am not sure if I should demand some money back or simply exchange the notebook completely?
For how much reduction of price would you keep the T22?
The only thing the PCMCIA slots would be used for is a WLAN adapter. Do you think it's possible the use the slots without much problems? What about an USB WLAN adapter? I am a bit afraid that they might be to big to fit in nicely.

I think that if you were not notified of the absence of the PCMCIA eject buttons you should demmand a refund (I would). That is, unless you don't ever plan to use the PCMCIA slots, which is quite impossible to predict really.

I don't know what the price range for a T22 like that is in Germany. If you think you got a nice deal you might consider getting a used PCMCIA assembly in eBay, and installing it yourself (you won't have much problem if you are handy, but be prepared to spend 4 or 5 hours if you have never done this before).

Also, as far as I know, if what you put into the PC Card slots are long enough to stick out the side of the laptop (like most wireless cards, usb 2 adaptors, etc), all you have to do is grab the card and pull it out of the slot -- the eject button is just to get things started.

ok.. than the missing button should not be much of a problem and i will keep the laptop if the reduction of price is high enough.
it's also good to know that there are PCMCIA assemblys available.
now, i will wait for the response of the online shop.

The only offered an reduction of 25€. So I sent it back and they fixed all problems I described.

But what do I have to see now finally beeing under Windows? The display seems not to be as bright as before and white colors look a bit yellowish. There are also two quite small (7mm) darker spots each in one of the bottom corners of the screen.
All this does not bother me much. But I have to admit that my knowledge about TFT Displays is quite limited and I am afraid that it might be the backlight slowly lossing it's will to live? Or does this look different and it's just that someone has cleaned the surface with some bad cleaner?
What might be the source of the problem? Do you think it will get worse / is a bad omen?

edit: The back of the display cover is the same as before. I don't know what they exchanged? Is it possible only to replace the front film with the scratch or is it all one compound together with the light?
