CSS password

#1 Post by benjaminzsj » Fri Sep 16, 2005 9:10 pm

I can't remember I had a security chip password configured after I uninstalled the previous IBM security software. Now after I installed the Rescue and Recovery with its Client Security Solution, which asks me for a password of the chip to go on with the setup, I can't proceed. Disable the chip and enable it again is no use. How to clear the security chip like the help file said?

Thanks in advance.

See if the tip by brainpicker in this thread will help you.

Thanks, now I can configure the CSS.
Alas, at the end of the process, it says "Creating system keys" failed. It requires me to rerun it after reboot but nothing changed.
What's wrong this time?
