x31 or x40

#1 Post by bigoxygen » Sat Sep 17, 2005 3:32 pm

Hello...

I am considering buying an x series laptop.
Now, if I get the x31 series, it looks as if I am getting a better value (new, 1.7 processor at $1400) over the x40 (1.4 processor, refurbished at $1400).
What do you recommend?

Thanks
Matt

It's a question of size and weight vs. performance. It is all up to your needs. If you can use slower computer and want ultraportability, choose X40/X41. If you need more powerful computer, small and light (BUT not the smallest and the lightest as X40) - go on X31/X32.
Everyone goes with his needs.

The X31 is a much better deal relative to the X40, but both computers are overpriced. Where did you get this pricing?

Didn't I already say no? The logic behind this is that the laptop is technically USED.
