I use a Kensington screen cloth, it's made by RadTech. It's actually made for the 15" Powerbook, so I cut it to fit. It works great for me - without it, I notice marks from keys on the keyboard building up fairly soon. I carry my laptop in a sleeve, in a backpack, a few times a week.

Personally, for a few years now, I've used a regular sheet of copy paper. I have a t40 ThinkPad. The sheet fits perfectly over the keyboard and protects my screen. Cheap and easy. If there is a reason not to use a plain piece of paper, I haven't found it.
