Thanks for the posting the link to my news ;)

There is a full pricing list with configs on that news item. I will be meeting with Lenovo in a few days and as soon as they can get some review models on hand I'll have one :D CAN'T WAIT
Have used just about every ThinkPad since the T42 days...

I'm a senior in computer/electrical engineering, but actually I don't plan on being a computer engineer ;) Right now I'm a Senior Editor @ LaptopLogic.com, although I bought my T42 and registered here before I started there ;)

I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in Asia we've had price reduced ThinkPads for about 3-4 months. My R51 was less than USD 1000, and I could even pay in installments.

$759 after CC discount for 1842-SLU with a free upgrade to 768MB RAM.
$799 before CC discount for the same thing.

I will say, however, that the Z60m looks like a better consumer system.
Current: 365XD (120 MHz, 72 MiB, 6.4 GB, 4x CD-ROM, 10.4" TFT)
Past: T61p 15.0" QXGA, T60p 15.0" QXGA, X61 Tablet SXGA+, R51e 14.1" XGA, X21

Thanks for ansering my question. :)
I was just saying that I want to be a computer engineer for Lenovo's Think brand because that is what I want to be when I grow up (I can't wait!).
