CD ROM in X Series Dock?

Hi there,

I have a CD ROM which I think is from a 570 or 600 docking station. Can I modify it to fit into a 2631 x series docking station? The FRU of the CD ROM is 27L3687, ASM # 27L3686.

Any help will be appreciated.
