Access Connection 3.81 Released Today

An update to Access Connection has been released today. The IBM.com web site driver matrix is still showing the version as 3.71 but the download page is showing the latest version available for download.

The Software Installer is also showing 3.81 as newly available.

-(New) Supported the following Wirless LAN and Wireless WAN adapter
-11a/b/g Wirless LAN Mini PCI Express Adapter
-Verizon Wireless WAN modem driver which enabled the following devices:
- Sierra Wirless 1x EV-DO Network Adapter
- Sierra Wireless Modem Device

-(New) Wireless devices hardware switch support for Z60t and Z60m
-(New) Checkpoint, Eccentuate, Novell GINAs support for single sign on
-(New) New Lenovo branding icons and copyrights and program folders and
product naming changes
-(New) Access connection Banner is changed
-(Fix) Error message when used with Cisco 802.11 a/b/g PC card (CB21AG PCMCIA card)
-(Fix) Longer time (40 seconds) taken when the system is undocked from docking
station on Windows 2000 system.
-(Fix) Resolve to avoid the system hang when Norton Antivirus is used together with
Access Connections (issue reported by X41 Tablet)
-(Fix) Find Wireless network will allow to create the temporary profile even if
IT admin set the policy not to allow profile creation.
-(Fix) Fix for security Vulnerable in shared memory sections
-(Fix) Fix for four minute boot problem if Cisco VPN Gina presents
-(Fix) Fix for long boot time when Novel Netware client software is installed
-(Add) ThinkVantage Productivity Center 1.01 support
