Ultranav pointer and trackpad: Can both be disabled?

#1 Post by Eriol » Thu Sep 22, 2005 10:47 pm

I seem to be able to only disable on or the other, but not both. Is this true?

Did you try going to: Start > All Programs > Access IBM > ThinkPad Configuration? From there you can disable the Touch Pad and the TrackPoint by clicking on the two separate icons on the left.

I did not try to disable both, because I would be lost without some kind of pointer (I don't have all the keyboard shortcuts memorized).

Hi GomJabber,
I have not tried this. I was manipulating both devies through the Windows mouse menu, and it would not let me disable both. Let me go try this.

Thanks.

EDIT: It looks like this worked.
