Anyone got a newish battery (bought from IBM)?

I picked up a "new" battery on eBay, but after only three days, the capacity of the battery is 41.08 Wh versus a design capacity of 47.52 Wh.

Is this normal, or did I get screwed on the battery?

The battery may have been "new in box" but it may have been sitting around the box for a long time. Li-ion batteries lose their capacity even when they haven't been used. Therefore, it is always a good idea to try to purchase them directly from Lenovo.

Don't have the exact numbers but I do remember my new T43p battery was showing less Wh than specked when new.
