If you're asking if this is normal for a used battery, I can tell you that is about what I'm getting out of mine.

I looked it up and the T30 battery is of different physical size than the T23 batteries ...

that does not fit then, no? the T30 battery is a little bigger.

can you tell me how you made that work ?

it has been a well known fact among t23 owners that t30 fit perfectly in a t23 and provide longer time....

Nobody goes looking for a t23 battery these days. Get a t30

about those T30 batteries, do you think that 3rd party ones do the trick aswell? Or shall I just go for original IBM ones ?

isn`t it a problem that the normal T23 batteries are 3,6Ah while the T30 has 4,4Ah ones?

just don`t wanna burn the T23 ;)

No, it is not a problem. Those are the rated capacity (gas tank analogy - 9 gallon vs 11 gallon). Both batteries supply 10.8V.

yer yer I know that`s the rated capacity

I was just asking myself why they don`t officially allow this for the T23 then ;)

there must be some flaw? or not? ;)

What's wrong with using T43 battery for T42 or any T4x....nothing....

IBM never said you can't use T30 for T23....

If they said you can, how do they sell the old T23 battery :D

Just take it from members here....

are the 3rd party (non-ibm) T30 batteries reliable or is an original ibm battery worth the extra $40? thanks
