Can people please post their T42s with extended batteries and with the standard battery to compare the two. Or if anyone has any suggestions on the size of the T42 with the extended battery in it, and how big it is, and if it is securely placed on it and wont get nocked off or damaged while in a back pack. Thanks.

read the specs on the lenovo web page for size..

and YES, the extended battery is secure when properly attached..

I have the nine cell. It is secure and I hardly notice it when I am using it, but I do notice the longer battery life.
