If I remember correctly Windows 95 and Office 95 were the last versions available on floppy..
Anyone else comment on that?
It was like 23 disks for Windows 95, and if any one of them goes bad...

Windows 95 upgrade on floppy was 13 diskettes.

Windows98 was set up to be on floppy, but it takes 78 or so, IIRC. I've never actually seen it.

You cannot legally download Windows98 or Office from anywhere.

I'm going to guess you have a 760C, which should be able to run Win98 OK. Look for Win98Lite too. It will probably run better.

To get it onto your 760C, you can use a boot floppy and copy over the WINDOWS directory (I think) onto your hard drive and run setup. You can do this with LapLink, INTERSRV/INTERLNK or other tools.

You could boot a Linux floppy with network support and copy it that way, which should be very fast.

Or, you can partition and format the drive WHILE IT'S IN THE 760C, install it in a desktop machine with an adapter, copy the files, move it back, boot a diskette and run setup.

There are many ways to skin this cat.
