Just received my BRAND NEW T-41P

What a machine. I CANNOT hear the fan, and the machine is REALLY quite cool.

I bought this machine over the T-42P, mostly because there was a $700.00 difference in price. I bought this unit for $1,450.00. The machine is fully loaded and the screen is DYNAMITE.

I am glad that you like it. I am looking into the T41p as well. I almost broke my shoulder today carrying A31p. (But gotta love the flexview though) LOL...

I think T41p is a great choice considering that T42's are more expensive with inferior specs right now. It is an older model but with FireGL 128MB video RAM and 7200 rpm HD and bluetooth I think you made an excellent choice.
Of course it has Banias core and b wireless, but wireless card can be upgraded easily if needed.

I am glad to hear that the fan is running very quietly, which is one of the most important features for me.

I dont know if different model t41p's have different specifications, but my t41p has "g" wifi (ibm a/b/g i think)

I am also looking at the T41p on ebay right now, unfortunetly I could only find refurbished ones, and they are $1449+$40 shipping, but they come with a 4 year warranty. With that long of a warranty I still feel pretty safe.
