I have an IBM T42 (23728ZU) with a CDRW/DVD Optical drive.
I'm using IBM's DLA process to allow writing backups to my drive as needed but every once in a while when I boot up a message box displays stating that the HP Fast Format IBM-DLA is in progress. This bascially wipes out whatever I have on my rewritable CD, which of course forces me to redo the backup routine that normally runs at bootup.
Has anybody run into this and, if so, have a way to prevent this from happening?
Thanks in advance!
