Thinkpad 600 LCD -possible to connect a 13" to 13.3 TP?

Hi,

I am trying to replace the 13.3" lcd screen of my Thinkpad 600 [2645].

My new lcd screen seems to be 13" .

The 13.3" has a smaller connection to the motherboard than the 13".

It simply doesn't connect.

Is there any possible solution to this? Or do you need the right size screen to connect to specific Thinkpad 600?
