Wow, Berkeley must have just updated their website. They were charging over $2300 for the 3VU less than a week ago! This price almost matches UPenn's now...

And most schools' educational discounts do vary greatly...the ~$1900 pricepoint for the 3VU is the best I've seen so far.

You need to browse to get to 3VU. It says it's a "July special". So they must have updated their prices in July.

Does anyone know if these machines have 8x or 4x AGP? IBM website says 8x but TABOOK says 4x. 4x AGP for a 9600 would be lame.

Cool, when I last checked with TSW, my student ID is good until Fall semester starts. Hmmm :)
