Dock II - which one will fit ?

I am trying to find a used Dock II for my T43p (2668G2G). There are always some on ebay and other auction houses, but not even one shows a part number that will fit my T43p, some of them even can´t be located on IBM´s site at all.

67P8995 - is the one which is suppose to fit my system - can´t find it used

39T4569 - is a new one which don´t show up for my system - can´t find informations if it would work with my system

62P4547 - is a used one I could get for a good price, but can´t find that number anywhere

Any hints where to look and what besides the part number is important to find out if it will fit my system?

But I still can´t explain why I am not able to find the "62P4547". It´s on ebay.co.uk

Pretty good price for the item but for me too much shipping costs to Austria anyway.

Do you know if the Docks do work worldwide if the power cord is exchanged to fit the country?

Yes the Dock II will work worldwide if the power cord is exchanged to fit the country. The PS is autosensing. My Dock II is Swiss

and it works in North America.

You might also want to ask the seller if the lock works/it comes with a working key before bidding. Also please note IBM EDU pricing is now US$ 175.00 **new**.

Working worldwide - that´s good news

If the IBM EDU price dropped to US$ 175 explains why you can get new ones on ebay for EUR 199 since a few days

Can you point to a page where the Dock II is selling for $175? When I signed in the education page as a teacher (which I am), I found it still selling for $300+. Thanks!

This was a SUNY Potsdam EDU price (www.ibm.com/shop/ibmdeals/suny) a while back. If you're patient you'll find them on special again. Your best bet may be EBay - I've purchased "as new IBM refurb." Dock IIs in Canada for even cheaper still. Regards.
