Warranty upgrade not valid.

In the June 2005 my warranty expired, I knew it so I bought Warranty Upgrade from IBM in the USA (not Lenovo yet in these days). I fulfiled all conditions and I paid $132, my warranty has been prolonged to June 2007. I was happy...

But ...

In the september 2005 my HDD had failed I put it into the service and they called me my warranty upgrade is not valid in my country ! Altough it must be worldwide and I bought it as a worldwide !

They told me warranty upgrade is valid in the state of purchuase only.

I will call our national IBM representative on Monday, so much money for nothing ... I don't know what I should tell them ...

Hey man, I feel sorry for you.
You say that you bought the warranty as worldwide. Did the salesperson say that it was worldwide? If you do have a warranty document, what does the fine print say?
