So I set my hard disk security password today in the BIOS. I selected Enable, then it asked for either User or User + Master, I selected User and entered my password. This is on an X40.
What security mode is it in? High or Maximum? I have no place to look or see this. I need to verify its in Maximum. High is useless aparently, because the password can be just turned off with a master password which I did not set.
Thanks.
What Hard disk security mode?
