anyone have an ID Tech 14.1" SXGA on their T40/41/42?

Has anyone seen a T series with an ID Tech 14.1" SXGA+ panel? I just learned that ID Tech stopped making them last year - http://www.idtech.co.jp/en/support/eol/index.html - but I'm wondering how they compare to the Hydis and Samsung SXGA+ panels.

Specifically, my chief complaint with the Samsung and Hydis panels is that the whites look pink, blacks look gray, and colors look washed out in general.

I've used several T42's and T43's with 15" SXGA+ and UXGA ID Tech panels and found them to be excellent, but the 15" T42 feels too big for everyday use.

does anyone have any other ideas for improving the display in the 14" T4x? Money is no object at this point!
