T41 (2379) - Will i run into any problems replacing the HD?

#1 Post by aphex » Mon Oct 03, 2005 1:27 pm

Currently has a 40gb 4200rpm Hitachi drive but i needed some more room and thought a speed increase couldn't hurt.

Just realized after purchasing a new drive, that i fergot to check if i will run into any compatability problems w/ my T41.

This is the drive i purchased;
TOSHIBA Super Slimline MK8026GAX (HDD2191) 80GB 5400 RPM 16MB Cache Notebook Hard Drive - $102

Gonna be using the recovery cd's IBM sent me right after i bought the laptop.

Should i expect to run into any compatability problems?
