Ultrabay battery not charging

I just got my ultrabay battery a few days ago, and it charged fine. Today, I used my computer on battery (regular + ultrabay), and since it discharges the ultrabay first, it went down to 62% (88% overall). I plugged it back in, and now nothing. The overall battery charge is 88% (62% and 100%), but the battery is not charging.

I messed around with the charging preferences, but nothing seems to make a difference. I took out the regular battery, leaving only the ultrabay, and it still won't charge. What is going on?

Also, is there a way to make the regular battery discharge first?

Anyone have an answer for this? I have the identical problem. Brand new UltraBay Slim battery and it won't charge. It's now down to 5%.

I figured it out. Well, sort of. The problem lies somewhere in what battery it's sensing the charge from, and the fact that it doesn't recharge batteries over 96% charged, and the order of charging. Since the media bay battery discharges first, it should be the first to charge, but for some reason it isnt.

I think what I did was take out the regular battery, then unplug the power adapter, then plug it back it. It should sense the media bay as the only battery, and start charging it. If that doesn't work (I'm not 100% sure that is what worked), then restart the computer with only the media bay battery in there. You will probably be able to put the regular battery back in once it starts charging.
